I've been busy with life and haven't been here for a long time. But now I'm close to my sewing machines again.
In September I've sewn a mini Wardrobe with five garments to wear in different outfits. It was a contest at Pattern Review and my contribution was three tops and two skirts. I already love these garments and want to add some more to this wardrobe to make it even more useful.
You can check out my contribution at Pattern Review and see what patterns I've used.
And it's also time to vote for the collections. If you want to vote for my wardrobe I will be more than happy if you head over to Pattern Review and the voting page.
I sew with a plan and sometimes I sew things I love and wear a lot and sometimes the opposite. I want to make a capsule wardrobe to fit in to my life.
I've also cleaned out my closet with help of Marie Kondo and there isn't much left.
Let's see if I can make a wardrobe to love.

Today's outfit
I'm busy finish the sewing for Stitcher's Guilds SWAP and in this minute I've just started to sew my Hvar Jacket. I also plan for Me Made May which starts on next Tuesday.
Today I wore this t-shirt in linen jersey and a thrifted skirt. We have summer warmth in Provence and it's lovely to wear my summer clothes even if I have some gaps to fill.

Last days
I've been busy during the last weeks but I've registered what I wore every day. I also joined the spring edition of 10x10 and that was fun even if I was a bit bored the 7th day or so. But I had no problem wearing my 10 garments in 10 days. You can see my different outfits with the hashtag #medeas10x10
After the 10x10 Challenge I've started to take pics of my progressive wardrobe and here are the latest days. All outfits from my Stylebook App.
What I clearly can see is that I mostly wear navyblue garments. And I love it. I think my style is a little bit too casual for my taste but I will sew more blouses and dresses to fill the gap. I can soon go to parties where I'm supposed to wear something nicer.
I've missed to fill in my list of which clothes I wore but it's not important. The most important thing for me is to see and feel which clothes makes me most comfortable and happy. And what holes to fill in when I plan my sewing.

This was what I wore when I travelled from Sweden to France |
This Sorbetto Top is a favorite and I want to sew a couple more of that pattern
This is another favorite outfit
My linen cardigan is out from my wardrobe when the temperature is over 20 degrees Celsius

I wear what I sew
Today it's the 18th day of my progressive capsule challenge. I try to use all the garments which is hanging in my wardrobe, just to see how I like all of them. There are a few that I think will move on, but I like most of them.
A couple of days ago I wore my newly sewn Granville Shirt and I really liked it. I've lost some weight and a couple of sizes so this was my first one in the new size and I think it's close to perfect. Maybe I'll make the sleeves a little bit longer next time.I've also updated my Stylebook App with my new garments. I took new photos of old garments to get them better. Last time I took photos I just hanged the garments on a hanger but now I used my dressmaking mannequin and the pictures get som much nicer.

Pattern Review Wardrobe Contest
I've sewn a mini wardrobe for Pattern Review's Wardrobe Contest and the voting has begun. Please vote for my wardrobe.
I think these six garment's will make me feel great during spring and I'll have something to wear for every occasion.
The dark blue tee is sewn of a wool knit and is lovely to wear when it's a little bit chilly.
I needed a new wardrobe, mostly because I lost some weigth, and these garment's are perfect both for working at home and go out with friends
I want a classic style but also love to use some print to light it up. This Liberty Fabric is one of my favourites.I think these six garment's will make me feel great during spring and I'll have something to wear for every occasion.

I haven't worn jeans or pants since 2011 but I will try again and see if I like it. I have fabric for another pair but maybe I'll wait until autumn because in summer there is no use for jeans in Provence, where I live.
Please go to the voting site and vote for my wardrobe!

I do wear a lot navyblue clothes. But I've never worn blue clothes, more than jeans, until a couple of years ago when I decided to just try. And now it's one of my favorite colors.
Today I wore three newly sewn garments. The t-shirt is a Simone Top from the swedish designer Jenny Hellström's first book. The longline cardigan is from the dutch sewing magazine Knipmode and the skirt is a favorite from the finnish sewing magazine Ottobre Design.

What I really wear
I've started to register what I wear after I found the #ProgressiveCapsule at Sustainable Fashion Chat on Instagram and I'll try this for at least 30 days. You'll find me at @medeasgarderob
Here's my #progressivecapsule list for my first five days. I'm putting a number behind each item which represents how many times I've worn it. All garments are #memade, otherwise there is a note.

No January Sewing
I haven't sewn so much for me in January but I sewn a couple of garments for my grandchildren. But now it's time to sit in front of my sewing machines and get some work done.
I've joined the #MakeNine2018 and also the Wardrobe Contest at Pattern Review. And I'll combine both the SWAP sewing for Stitcher's Guild and these two other contests.
This is what I want to sew for my new wardrobe and then add the garments to the contest at Pattern Review.

Here's my #makenine2018 board and as you can see there are some of the same patterns and some others. I tried a t-shirt pattern, Simone Top, from Jenny Hellström and sewed one in a viscose jersey and one i wool jersey.
Here are my big plan for Stitcher's Guild SWAP and of course there are the same garments as before and the dress that I already sewn.
The new garment on the first picture is Ginger Jeans. I never wear jeans since 2011 but maybe I'll try that again. I love wearing skirts and dresses but I also love the look of the Ginger Jeans. So I will sew at least one pair and then see if I love to wear them.
